Beta • First Edition • April 2026
NEW YORK, N.Y. – April 5, 2026 – Stryker-Indigo New York today unveiled the Stryker-Indigo CFL Power Rankings, the first edition of a comprehensive, data-driven predictive model for the Canadian Football League.
The fully interactive tool is now publicly available at StrykerIndigo.com and on its sister news platform CardBiz.ca.
This predictor is directly based on the proven Stryker-Indigo World Football Power Rankings system. Unlike traditional standings or subjective polls, it is a true predictive model that forecasts expected point differentials in upcoming CFL matchups.
Developed using the same mathematical foundation that powered the bestselling Footie’s Black Book and was used to predict world soccer matches CLICK HERE for Stryker-Indigo’s World Cup Predictor
How the Model Works
Each team receives a Power Rating (0.000 is the strongest).
The expected point spread is calculated from the difference in Power Ratings plus home advantage (~2.5 points).
The rankings are fully interactive: Users can compare any two teams, toggle home advantage, and use the widget. A one-click CSV download is available.
“We’re excited to bring our predictive model to the CFL for the first time. This Beta release adapts the same proven system that delivered strong accuracy in international football. Fans and analysts now have a powerful new tool tailored to the unique flow and scoring of Canadian football.”
— George Fosty, President of Stryker-Indigo New York
“The CFL deserves data-driven insights that respect its high-scoring, exciting style. This is just the beginning — we look forward to refining the model throughout the 2026 season.”
— Darril Fosty, Vice President of Stryker-Indigo New York and co-founder of CardBiz.ca
