What’s open on Easter Monday in Toronto for 2026 is a much easier question to answer than Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Most of the city’s businesses will resume their normal operations with the start of the new week, minus a few notable exceptions.

Although Easter Monday is not a statutory holiday for most provincial employees, including here in Ontario, it is a designated paid holiday for federally regulated employees.
