An ambitious bear in Connecticut was spotted trying to make off with an entire dumpster on Tuesday, March 31.
Paul Quagliaroli took this footage of the mama bear with her cubs in Farmington. “It happened right outside my condo,” he told Storyful.
The adult bear is seen lifting the dumpster’s lid and taking a look inside. She then pulls the huge trash container toward nearby woods.
Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection warned residents that bear activity increases in spring as the animals seek out food.
