U.S. President said that “Iran can be taken out in one night, and that night might be tomorrow night” at a news conference at the White House on Monday afternoon.

“I can tell you they’re [Iran] negotiating, I think, in good faith, we will find out,” he said.
Trump had earlier promised to enforce a Tuesday night deadline for Iran to agree to a ceasefire deal or face attacks on the country, including power plants and other critical infrastructure.
“We’re giving them until eight o’clock [p.m.] Eastern time, and after that, they will have no bridges, no power plants.”
Trump also cited that this past weekend was “one of the best Easters militarily” being shot down by in separate attacks on Friday.

Saying that reopening the strait is a “big priority,” Trump has stressed to that there needs to be a deal “acceptable to me by Tuesday deadline.”
However, Trump said that Iran that if a deal is not reached to reopen the strait, the U.S. would set the country “back to the stone ages.”
He also is urging the Iranian people to rise up against the government within the country if a ceasefire were to be declared.
U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also told reporters that the largest volume of strikes since the first day of the conflict against Iran would take place on Monday, also warning that Tuesday would have even more.

This is not the first time Trump has called NATO this, last week that he is considering withdrawing the U.S. from NATO.
“Oh yes, I would say [it’s] beyond reconsideration. I was never swayed by NATO. I always knew they were a paper tiger, and Putin knows that too, by the way,” Trump said in the interview.
