Shooting Star Amusements is back in Surrey for the annual Vaisakhi parade.

The fun starts Friday, April 10 at Gurdwara Dashmesh Darbar Sahib (12885 85 Ave.) from 1 to 10 p.m., with 12 to 14 rides activated for 10 full days at the site in Newton, until Sunday, April 19.

Rides include Ferris wheel, Spider, Sizzler, Tornado, Zero Gravity, bumber cars, Atlantis and others, according to Justin Wagner, who has brought amusement rides to Surrey’s Vaisakhi event every year since the late-1990s.

“It’s one of our busiest events of the year, over two weekends,” he said Monday.

An all-day ride pass is $30, or $4 per ride. Tickets and wristbands will be available onsite.

Ride hours are posted on Shooting Star’s Facebook page.
