Two suspects are sought after gold was stolen during a break-in at a gold exchange in downtown Toronto on Friday.

Toronto police said two suspects broke into a commercial building near Yonge and College streets shortly after 2:10 a.m.

Once inside, the suspects allegedly raided a gold exchange, taking an unknown quantity of gold and cash.

The suspects later fled the building.

On Tuesday, police released images of the two male suspects described as having medium builds and wearing black jackets, black pants, black shoes and dark face coverings.

One suspect was wearing red gloves, police said.
