WASHINGTON – Georgetown tennis will wrap up the 2026 spring regular season with a quartet of matches on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, men’s tennis will head to Emmitsburg, Maryland to face Mount St. Mary’s, while the women make a short trip to Fairfax, Virginia for a match against George Mason. Both squads return on Saturday to host a BIG EAST doubleheader against Villanova at the Junior Tennis Champions Center in College Park, Maryland.
 
About Georgetown Men’s Tennis


Georgetown (5-14, 2-3 BE) dropped both its conference matches last week, falling 6-1 to St. John’s on April 1 and 5-2 to DePaul on April 3.
James O’Sullivan picked up the lone point for GU in the loss to the Red Storm, while Jonah Hill and Jacob Mann earned singles victories in the loss to DePaul.
Joshua Lamm-Bocharov leads the Hoyas with an 8-8 singles record, followed by J. O’Sullivan with a 7-10 record. Both hold 3-2 marks in conference action this season.
J. O’Sullivan leads GU with seven doubles wins, while Arthur O’Sullivan and Lamm-Bocharov have six wins apiece.

The Hoyas (6-8, 3-2 BE) are coming off a tight 4-3 victory over the UConn Huskies on April 2.
GU came from behind in doubles play to earn the point with wins from Julia Chu/Ruhika Bhat and Katie Garofolo-Ro/Emily Novikov.
Georgetown split its singles matches to earn the overall win as Garofolo-Ro, Bhat and Paige Gilbert captured victories on courts three, five, and six. Garofolo-Ro clinched the victory in a straight-set 7-5, 6-4 win against UConn’s Victoria Matos.
Bhat boasts a team-best 9-3 record in singles action, including a perfect 4-0 mark in conference play. Chu, Garofolo-Ro and Gilbert have each earned eight singles wins on the year.
Chu leads Georgetown with eight doubles wins, followed by Novikov and Bhat with six each.
