More than 350,000 units of iron-containing dietary supplements are being recalled for lacking child-resistant packaging, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The recall involves the following brands: Arey, Bari Life, Bird&Be, Biote, Dr Fuhrman, NuLife, HMR, Bariatric Pal, Noevir, Zenbean and Sakara.
Because the supplements contain iron, they must be in child-resistant packaging per the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. If they are not in child-resistant packaging, they pose a risk of serious injury or death from poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children, according to the recall alert.
What supplements are recalled?
About 356,140 units of the following supplements are impacted, according the the CPSC:

Consumers are advised to store supplements out of children’s sight and reach and contact Vitaquest International for information on how to obtain a free child-resistant replacement cap or storage pouch.
The products were sold at Credo Beauty, Erewhon, Healf, Nutrition World, The Vitamin Shoppe, Fullscript, Ulta Beauty stores nationwide, medical practitioners’ offices, brands’ websites and Amazon.com from April 2023 through February 2026.
The products range in price between $13 and $130, depending on brand and size.
