Fight fans can catch two nights of live, loud and “in your face” action when TNA Wrestling returns to Brampton this summer.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling announced last month that it will be back in Brampton this August for tapings that will let wrestling fans enjoy the spectacle “the way it’s supposed to be experienced.”

Brampton’s CAA Centre hosted TNA Wrestling broadcasts last year on May 23 and 24, featuring appearances by TNA world champ Joe Hendry, former NFL players-turned-pro-wrestlers Moose and A.J. Francis, Alisha Edwards, and other superstars.

This year’s shows are on August 27 and 28 at the CAA Centre with ticket pre-sales opening next week.

“Championships on the line. Grudge matches that have been bowling for months. This is where scores get settled and new champions get crowned,” TNA says of its upcoming Brampton shows.

During last year’s events, Brampton Honey Badger mascot Hammer, City Councillor Rod Power and Brampton Board of Trade CEO Jaipaul Massey-Singh became part of the show. During a tag team match, Hammer got up close and personal with Alisha Edwards outside the ring before getting hit over the head with a kendo stick.

Power also got physical, sneaking up and yanking the stick from Moose and getting into a tug-of-war with Brian Myers mid-match before Massey-Singh jumps into action.
