Toronto police have released images of a suspect accused of assaulting one person unprovoked on a TTC bus on Tuesday morning.

Police said a call came in at 9 a.m. for an assault in the area of Islington Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West.

The bus was travelling north on Islington Avenue when the alleged assault occurred, police said.

The suspect also allegedly stole the victim’s personal property before fleeing.

Police said the victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a man between 35 and 40 years old, six feet tall with a medium build, unshaven black facial hair and black eyes.

At the time of the assault, he was wearing a blue winter coat, grey sweatpants, and a black hooded sweater, police said.
