Guests paid roughly $2,000 to attend a three-day Her Best Life retreat in Sydney that is being headlined by Meghan Markle — but they shouldn’t expect to get a selfie with her.
According to a Wednesday, April 15 report in the Daily Mail, only guests who paid for the VIP experience — which costs about $359 more — will get a chance to take a group photo with the Duchess of Sussex, 44, during the event’s April 17 opening night.
After the photo op, Meghan will participate in a conversation with podcaster Gemma O’Neill in front of the 300 attendees, the outlet reported.

“This is a strict no phones, no recording moment for the duration of the interview,” reads a leaked itinerary posted by the Daily Mail on April 13.
“We promise it’s worth it — this is about being fully present, soaking it all in, and it’s also a non-negotiable security requirement. Phones away, eyes up, and enjoy the magic!” the itinerary continued, adding that there will be “a dedicated moment at the end where you can take out your phones and capture a photo of Gemma with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex on stage.”
The rest of the weekend will be dedicated to yoga, meditation and panel sessions on health and wellness topics with other guests, the outlet reported.
Along with the group shot with Meghan, VIP guests also get a gift bag and their own room at the InterContinental Coogee Beach hotel, while regular ticket holders will have to share.

Meghan will be paid $1 million to attend the “girls’ weekend” according to a March report in Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack.
As In Touch reported, the As Ever founder is currently in Australia on a quasi-royal tour with her husband, Prince Harry, 41, where she has already appeared as a special guest on MasterChef Australia.
The trip feels “more like a brand tour than anything structured,” a source told Shuter for Substack on April 15.
“People are asking — what exactly are they doing there?” another insider added. “And no one seems to have a clear answer.”
