Mississauga gears up to officially open phase two of Mattamy Sports Park

The community is invited to celebrate a day filled with activities and to check out the new park amenities.

Gather your family and friends, and join Mississauga Members of Council, dignitaries and special guests this Saturday, April 18 for the official opening of Mattamy Sports Park’s phase two development.

The community can tour the sports park, participate in various family games and activities, partake in an official ceremony and the day’s festivities.

Phase two park amenities include:

A lit cricket pitch with an artificial turf infield and wicket, bleacher seating and batting cage
Multi-purpose artificial turf field for field hockey and soccer
An indoor, covered tennis facility with seven courts for tennis and pickleball, delivered in partnership with Premier Racquet Club
Natural areas and a stormwater management pond
Shaded pavilions, a picnic event space and trail system that includes a multi‑use trail loop with fitness stations
