The Toronto Tempo have signed guard Dara Mabrey to a training camp contract, the WNBA team announced Wednesday.

Mabrey most recently played for the Norwood Flames in Australia’s NBL1, where she averaged 20.75 points a game over four appearances.

Before that, she averaged 17.6 points and 3.9 assists through 21 games with PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece.

She played collegiately at Notre Dame and Virginia Tech.

Mabrey, 26, is the younger sister of Marina Mabrey, who was selected by Toronto with the second pick in the WNBA expansion draft and later signed to a multiyear contract.

Training camp starts Sunday ahead of the Tempo’s inaugural WNBA season, which begins May 8 against the visiting Washington Mystics.
