Lyle was born in White Pine, Michigan, the son of Orville and Donna (Trierweiler) Martin. He married Debra Kay Dahn on June 2, 1978. He earned two associate’s degrees in business and automotive. He held many certificates including those in mold remediation and fire and water restoration. He was the proud owner and operator of D&L Janitorial Fire, Water, and Mold Specialists.(WLUC)
