UPDATE: Peel police a third patient has also been taken to hospital in serious condition. The third victim is also an adult male. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

Two people have been rushed to hospital following a townhouse fire in Mississauga on Friday.
The blaze happened at a townhouse on the Fifth Line in Mississauga around 6 p.m., Peel Regional Police say.
An adult male and an adult female victim were taken to hospital in serious condition. The fire has been extinguished by Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services, and police are on the scene assisting.
Drivers and residents are being asked to avoid the area.
