PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The University of Pennsylvania women’s tennis team suffered a 4-1 loss to Brown in Providence on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Bears secured the doubles point by winning two of three as they led 1-0 heading into singles.
 
Despite a win by Penn’s Esha Velaga at the top spot of the singles lineup, Brown won three more matches as they secured the win.
 
The Quakers are now 11-11 overall and 2-4 in Ivy League play with one match remaining in the season.
