A vehicle incident in Colwood early Saturday morning downed a power pole, cutting electricity to over 400 customers for most of the day.

B.C. Emergency Health Services said one ambulance was called to the 2200 block of Sooke Road just after 2 a.m., after reports of a vehicle incident.

No patients were transported to hospital, they said.

A B.C. Hydro crew arrived on the scene early Saturday afternoon.
