My wife and I moved to Alberta and Canada from the US in 1970. We are so grateful for the opportunity to build a great life and raise our family in Alberta and Canada. We are proud to be citizens of Alberta and Canada, there is no better place to live in the world. I am terrified to contemplate the tragedy separating Alberta and Canada would cause. It is apparent that just the threat of separation is resulting in significant reduction in people’s willingness to invest in Alberta. Alberta gets so much from our partnership with Canada. Funding for health care, primary, secondary and post-secondary education, child care and so much more. If Alberta were not part of Canada we would be landlocked, have to try and create our own defence force and provide so many more services currently provided by our partnership with Canada. Alberta’s separation from Canada would result in great damage to our lives and livelihoods and must be avoided!

The optics are bad about an MP crossing the floor regardless of the reason given. The MP who crossed the floor had told their constituents’ that they wanted to represent under a particular banner, but when they get elected, they decided they want something different. So, they become a traitor! The question now is what Prime Minister Carney has given them to cross. In other words, he bought them! Recently there was a trip which included Australia and thousands catering on this trip.

Who in their right mind would ever do this, unless they’re financially desperate?
Paying for necessary food items without the means to pay for them today only with credit? Mark Carney’s Liberal majority is leading the charge for spending billions to feed 12 million Canadians with a $500 grocery rebate giveaway in June. The fact this is happening says you’ve failed Carney.
Elbows up, build faster stronger like never before said you, while Canadians suffer.
