Belleville is going to be busy with a pair of big events this coming weekend.
Belleville Ribfest is set to take place over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at West Zwick’s Park.
The party starts at 11 a.m. on all days, running until 10 p..on Friday and Saturday, and wrapping up at 8 p.m. on Sunday. While the ribs are the main focus, the festival will also include games, live music and entertainment, and an assortment of local vendors and food trucks.
Event proceeds are going to the Belleville Lions Club and Gleaners Food Bank.
Also this weekend, the Belleville Caribbean Festival kicks off.
The party begins with a white dress party in Victoria Park on Friday, followed by a parade and street festival downtown on Saturday. The parade will depart from West Zwick’s Park and head over to Front Street downtown. Front Street will be closed between Victoria and Bridge for the festival, which will include street vendors, games, and live music.
On Sunday, the Caribbean Festival joins Ribfest at West Zwick’s Park for a combined day of fun.
