Region of Peel – Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) have made an arrest and are searching for an additional suspect in connection with an arson investigation in Mississauga.
On Sunday, March 16, at approximately 5:28 a.m., police responded to reports of a fire at an unoccupied business near Winston Churchill Boulevard and Argentia Road. There were no reported injuries and the suspects fled the area prior to police arrival.
Since the initial incident, the same location has been targeted by two additional arson attempts.

On April 17, investigators arrested Kevin Paredes, a 19-year-old man from Ottawa, and charged him with the following offences:
Arson
Break and Enter
Possession of Break In Instruments
Disguise with Intent
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Investigators are seeking to identify an additional suspect believed to be involved in these arson incidents.
The suspect (below) is described as a male with a fair complexion, late teens to early 20s, slim build, clean-shaven, with dark eyes. He was last seen wearing a black toque, black puffer jacket, black jeans, and black Nike Air Force shoes.
