Investigation underway near Professor’s Lake in Brampton: police

Peel police say residents near Professors Lake may notice officers in the area for an ongoing investigation.

Few details have been released, but Peel Regional Police say officers were called to the area of Professors Lake Parkway and Pebble Beach Court around 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

Investigators say to expect a large police presence in the area.

Police didn’t disclose what led to the call, but say there’s no threat to public safety.
