A vehicle hit two pedestrians on Wednesday evening in Mississauga.
The people were struck at Lakeshore Road East and Beechwood Avenue, west of Cawthra Road, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Peel Regional Police said.
Reports indicate they were hit in a crosswalk.
The pedestrians are both males in their late teens, a police spokesperson told INsauga.com.
One pedestrian has minor injuries, and the second pedestrian is in life-threatening condition, the spokesperson said.
The driver remained on the scene, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
Lakeshore Road was closed but has since reopened.
