Police have charged two Brampton men with drug and firearm offences following a bust in Thunder Bay.
The OPP says the arrests happened on April 2 during an investigation into possible drug trafficking in the Thunder Bay area. Investigators say a search led to the seizure of oxycodone pills, cell phones, and a firearm.
The OPP says Isaiah Honnigan, 29, and Jahmar Hamilton, 28, both of Brampton, were arrested and charged with multiple offences including possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, and possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm.
The accused remain in custody and are scheduled to make a court appearance in Thunder Bay at a later date.
