One man is in custody after a homicide in Dakota Crossing on Tuesday night.
Just before 11:30 p.m. on April 21, the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a homicide at an apartment complex in the 1200 block of St. Anne’s Road.
When officers arrived, they located an 80-year-old woman suffering from fatal injuries.
During the investigation, officers learned that the suspect and victim were known to each other.
A 74-year-old male has been charged with second-degree murder.
He was detained in custody.
