Police are investigating after a man was killed and a school bus driver was injured in a crash north of Brampton.
The two-vehicle collision happened around noon on Mayfield Road west of Innis Lake Road on Friday, the OPP says.
The school bus was carrying eight children when it crashed with a passenger vehicle, and police say the 78‑year‑old driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
None of the children were injured, but the bus driver was transported to a local hospital with non‑life‑threatening injuries.
Police closed Mayfield Road between Innis Lake Road and Airport Road, which has since reopened.
