Saturday’s forecast calls for a chance of showers throughout the day in the Greater Toronto Area and wind gusts up to 60 km/h in some parts of southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says the morning will bring showers to Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa and the Niagara Falls area.

There’s a 40 per cent chance of showers again in the afternoon, with between 5 mm to 10 mm of rainfall possible.

A northeast wind could hit gusts between 40 km/h to 60 km/h in the GTA, with a high of around 9 C in Mississauga.

Saturday night could bring more showers with a 30 per cent chance in Mississauga, and wind gusts up to 40 km/h.

The low is expected to be around 4 C, the weather agency says.

Looking ahead to Sunday, conditions will be sunny in Mississauga with a high of 17 C and a low of 2 C. Sunny skies are expected to stick around on Monday, with a high of 19 C and a low of 4 C.
