One man was left with life-threatening injuries following a crash between a motorcycle and another vehicle in Mississauga.
The two-vehicle collision happened around 1:15 p.m. near Terry Fox Way and Eglinton Avenue on Saturday, Peel Regional Police say.
Photos from the scene obtained by INsauga.com show a red motorcycle crashed in the intersection and a silver sedan with significant damage to the passenger’s side.
The adult male driver of the motorcycle was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition, a spokesperson with Peel Regional Paramedic Services says.
The driver of the sedan remained on the scene, police say.
Officers have closed westbound and eastbound Eglinton Avenue at Heatherlea Drive, and southbound Terry Fox Way has been closed at Focal Road.
Police say drivers in the area can expect delays while the investigation is underway.
