Patrick Keleher – Future Uncertain
Patrick Keleher joined the cast as Seth in season 7, and though fans thought his storyline might have wrapped, Alexi Hawley doesn’t think that’s necessarily true!
When asked if that was the last we’ll see of Seth, he told TV Guide, “I don’t think it’s the end. Again, it’s early days. We started the [writers] room [last Monday], but I would like to see him again. Patrick also was a joy to find as an actor. His ability to be incredibly likable at the beginning — this sort of Boy Scout — and the micro-adjustments he made to make this character somebody who audiences truly did not like was a real talent. But I also think that the challenge is, can you redeem a character like that? I think that’s interesting. I think ultimately — and Nolan says it in the scene — it’s not necessarily the end of his career in the Los Angeles Police Department. I think if you can pass the physical tests that anybody else passes, even with a prosthetic, then you can become a police officer. So I think that there’s still a story to tell there.”
Tru Valentino as Aaron Thorsen – Exited in Season 7
The fate of Tru Valentino‘s Aaron Thorsen was up-in-the-air at the end of season six after being in a code blue at the hospital. He ended up not returning for season 7.
About if Tru could ever return, showrunner Alexi Hawley told Screen Rant, “Of course. Tru [Valentino] is a great actor, and he was a huge part of our show for several seasons, and so we’d love to have him back in some capacity. It just ultimately felt like, creatively, for where the show was going, that we needed to pivot a bit. But he’s still very much alive in our universe.”
