Three people, including an infant, were hospitalized after police responded to reports of a pedestrian being stuck by a vehicle Sunday evening in North York.

Toronto Police said reports started coming in before 6 p.m. after a crash in the area of Glengrove Ave. W. and Caledonia Rd.

Paramedics told CP24 that the infant suffered serious and possibly life-threatening injuries. They also said the woman’s injuries were life-threatening, while the man was in serious, non-life-threatening condition.

Police later said in an update that a woman in her 30s, a man in his 20s and an infant had been transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
They also said the vehicle remained at the scene.
A fourth person was also treated at the scene with minor injuries, medics told CP24, adding that they had responded to reports of “multiple” pedestrians being struck.
Caledonia has reopened in both directions after being closed earlier due to the investigation as police had asked people to avoid the area and consider alternate routes.

York Regional Police responded to reports of a collision Sunday at 12:35 a.m. at the intersection of Doane Rd. and Leslie St., west of Hwy. 404, in the community north of Newmarket.
