6-year-old girl dead after fall from apartment building in Toronto

A six-year-old girl has died following a fall from a Toronto apartment building Sunday night.

Emergency crews were called to the building at Chalkfarm Drive and Jane Street at 8:15 p.m. on April 26, Toronto Police said.

Police said there were reports of someone falling from an apartment building.

Officers found a 6-year-old girl who had fallen from a bedroom window, police said.

Police said officers will remain on scene pending an autopsy report.
