Police are investigating a homicide in Mississauga they say appears to have been a targeted attack.
Peel Regional Police have released few details, saying only that a “male victim” was located with signs of trauma to the body in the area of Kennedy Road and Matheson Boulvevard in the city’s east end, a couple of blocks west of Highway 403 and south of Highway 401.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police, who added a culprit or culprits fled the area.
The call came in to police shortly after 8:30 a.m.
