Arson is suspected in another tow truck fire reported overnight in Brampton.
Emergency crews responded to the tow truck fire in a residential driveway in the Balmoral Drive and Dixie Road area of Brampton just after 3 a.m. on Tuesday, a Peel Regional Police spokesperson told INsauga.com.
The fire has been deemed an arson, the spokesperson said.
There is no suspect information at this time.
Police said it is too early to know whether the fire is connected to tow truck fires reported last week.
Brampton Fire crews responded to four tow truck fires at three different homes starting shortly after 1 a.m. on April 21. Two shootings were also reported overnight on April 21.
Tow truck fires have been reported several times in Brampton and Mississauga, and have been linked to turf wars in the Greater Toronto Area.
