Scottish comedian Danny Bhoy will return to Surrey this fall on a four-city B.C. tour.
His “Dear World” show stops at Kelowna Community Theatre and Vancouver’s Chan Centre before hitting Surrey’s Bell Performing Arts Centre on Oct. 23, followed by a date in Victoria at McPherson Playhouse.
Tour tickets go on sale Friday, May 1 on dannybhoy.com.
Bhoy’s tour follows a sold-out run at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival and show dates across Australia and New Zealand. This October he’ll tour Canada for a ninth time, continuing his long-standing connection with audiences in this country.
“Known for his signature storytelling and sharp observational humour, ‘Dear World’ is a highly anticipated follow-up that blends stand-up and theatre into a uniquely engaging live experience,” Outback Presents promises.
Bhoy is known for delivering “smart, heartfelt and laugh-out-loud reflections on the world around us.”
Outback Presents has also booked Bored Teachers and Kathy Griffin comedy shows coming to Surrey’s Bell theatre this fall.
