Calgary police are asking people who live east of Calgary near Township Road 252 and Range Road 282 to check their properties as officers search for a missing 71-year-old man.
Calgary police said in a social media post Tuesday that Joginder had last been seen on foot at about 1 p.m. in the area of Taradale N.E.
In an updated news release, police said that after tracing his movements and speaking with witnesses, investigators believe Joginder travelled east of Calgary into the Conrich area on foot.
Police said he was last spotted walking on Township Road 252, near Range Road 282, at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Joginder suffers from a medical condition and police said they are concerned for his well-being.
“At this time, there is nothing to indicate foul play is involved,” police stated in the release.
Joginder is described as 71 years old, five feet six inches tall and 154 pounds, with brown eyes, grey hair and a grey beard.
He was last seen wearing a blue and white jacket, mittens and a grey turban.
A Calgary police social media post on Tuesday said Joginder does not have a phone with him.
Police said officers have searched the area and are asking anyone who lives east of Calgary near Township Road 252 and Range Road 282 to check their properties.
