The Timberwolves, clinging to a 3-2 series lead against the Nuggets after a pair of injuries sidelined the starting backcourt, are heading into Game 6 (9:30 ET, ESPN) shorthanded further still.
Minnesota guard Ayo Dosunmu – who scored 43 points in the crucial Game 4 victory – has been ruled out of Thursday’s contest due to a calf injury. The news was first reported by ESPN.

The fifth-year veteran, a trade deadline acquisition from the Bulls, has averaged a career-best 15.0 points along with 3.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists. He’s done it efficiently as well, knocking down 51.7% of his attempts, including 43.9% from 3-point range.
