An executive for JPMorgan Chase & Co. has been accused of drugging, sexually assaulting, and abusing a junior employee. According to a new lawsuit, 37-year-old Lorna Hajdini, an executive director at the investment bank company, convinced a married banker into non-consensual and humiliating acts, which included sexual harassment and abuse, over a span of months.

As the one-year anniversary of the bizarre disappearances of four-year-old Jack Sullivan and his six-year-old sister Lilly in woods near their Nova Scotia home approaches on May 2, answers have been slim. So far cops have said there is no evidence the siblings were kidnapped, or evidence of a criminal offence of any kind. Clues appear equally scarce.

Toronto Police say a man is dead and a suspect in his 60s is in custody following a shooting in North York around the noon hour Thursday. In a series of social media updates, police said officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly before 12:30 p.m. in the Marlee Ave. and Glengrove Ave. W. area, near Allen Rd. and Lawrence Ave. W. When cops arrived at the scene, a victim was found with a gunshot wound and unknown injuries, cops said. A suspect was arrested at the scene.

In the wake of reports that the IRGC-connected president of Iran’s soccer federation was turned away at the border despite holding a valid visitor’s visa, Prime Minister Mark Carney insists high-ranking members of Iran’s despotic regime are indeed being kept out of Canada. Speaking to reporters on Thursday in Oakville, Carney was asked about reports that Iranian Football Federation President Mehdi Taj had been denied entry into Canada this week — after reportedly receiving a visa to enter Canada as a visitor.
