New outdoor gym equipment installed at Fen Park in Lowestoft

The new outdoor equipment is now in use at Fen Park in Kirkley, Lowestoft.

Lowestoft Town Council said that the new outdoor gym equipment is “ready to use” at Fen Park, with plans for “free open sessions in the summer” to show locals how to best make use of the equipment.

The new setup includes a cross trainer and exercise bike to support your cardio workouts, alongside a range of calisthenics bars suitable for various exercises.

Works to install the new equipment – which offers “something for everyone” according to the town council – started in recent weeks.

With plans to install the new equipment announced by the town council in February, they said it will be “a fantastic addition” to the popular park in Southwell Road.

And now with the outdoor gym equipment installed, the town council said it features: “A great selection of bars for strength training, alongside cardio equipment to support all your fitness needs.”

Details of the free demonstration days for the new equipment will be announced soon via the Sports: Lowestoft Town Council Facebook page.
