It looks like Chet Hanks will be spending his White Boy Summer in a Nashville trailer park.
The 35-year-old son of actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson has been living out of a Jayco Eagle RV in a trailer park after moving out to Nashville, Tenn., in hopes of making it big in country music with his band, Something Out West.

Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, Hanks discussed his move to Nashville, stating he didn’t want to get an apartment in the Tennessee capital because he “literally just got a condo in L.A.”
“I didn’t want to do that again, and I didn’t want to furnish it,” said Hanks, per E! News.

Upon moving to Nashville, Hanks said he first stayed at hotels and rental homes, but said the temporary accommodations got “really old.”
That’s when he decided on trailers after living in an Airstream during a trip in Northern California.
The White Boy Summer hitmaker said a mobile home has “everything you need.”
“I just like having my own place,” Hanks told Fallon. “I got my kitchen. I got a walk-in shower. That’s a big deal in trailers.”
The Running Point actor also liked the community he has been able to develop at his new trailer, stating that trailer parks don’t live up to their “sketchy” stereotype.
“I’m probably the youngest person in the trailer park by 30 or 40 years,” he said.
Hanks said it’s “all just retirees” and his neighbours are “great people.”
“I do have a campfire outside of it. I have a fire pit,” he continued. “But most of the time, I just do exactly what I do at home, which is just stay inside and lay in bed and watch Netflix and things like that.”
