The MIAA Tournament continues to belong to the Hope College women’s tennis team.
The Flying Dutch won the postseason event for the 14th consecutive time — and 15th overall — on Saturday by seving a 4-0 victory against second-seeded Calvin University at VandePoel-Heeringa Stadium Courts.
Hope (16-7 overall) clinched the MIAA’s automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Championships. The field is announced on Monday, May 4.
The Flying Dutch, who also were the regular-season champions, have won 28 consecutive MIAA Tournament matches dating back to 2012.
Hope last met Calvin in the championship match in 2018.
