Ottawa paramedics say a man is in serious condition after his motorcycle collided with a car in the city’s west end Sunday morning.
First responders were called to the intersection of Holly Acres Road and Carling Avenue just after 9 a.m.
Paramedics said they assessed and treated the motorcyclist, who sustained multi-system trauma. He was then transported to hospital.
Police temporarily closed access to the southbound lane on Holly Acres Road from Carling Avenue. It has since been reopened.
