Toronto police are announcing an arrest after a firearms investigation that spanned Toronto and Ajax.
The Guns and Gangs Task Force carried out search warrants in both municipalities on Wednesday, April 29 around 5:30 p.m. and seized five handguns.
They also found ammunition, cocaine, crystal meth, heroin, oxycontin, cash, precious metals and jewellery.
Musa David, 47, of Ajax was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of a loaded firearm, two counts of possession of an unloaded firearm ammunition readily accessible, possession of a firearm with serial number defaced, five counts of knowingly manufacture/transfer firearm, knowingly manufacture/transfer ammunition, five counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, sale of unpackaged, unstamped tobacco, possession of proceeds of crime over $5000, two counts of possess firearm while prohibited.
