One person has been rushed to hospital and police have closed traffic lanes following a pedestrian-involved crash in Mississauga.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. at Mavis Road and Hillcrest Avenue in Mississauga, Peel Regional Police say.
One adult male pedestrian was struck and taken to hospital in serious but stable condition. The vehicle driver remained at the scene, police said.
Southbound Mavis Road has been closed down to one lane at Hillcrest Avenue, and police say drivers should avoid the area and expect delays.
