Actress and model Hunter Schafer’s Euphoria character Jules is a painter, and in last night’s episode is shown painting a mural. So it’s only fitting that her custom Prada Met Gala dress take inspiration from Gustav Klimt’s 1912 painting Mäda Primavesi, which is part of the Met’s collection.
“It’s this like flower girl,” Schafer says. “And so yeah, we were inspired by that, and kind of tried to recreate the painting, but Prada-fied it”.
