Creston golf season kicks off with Rick Clark Memorial Golf Tournament

On April 27, 2026, the Creston Valley golf season began as it always does, with the Rick Clark Memorial Golf Tournament.
Held at the Creston Golf Club, the tournament funds the Rick Clark Memorial Bursary, which us currently awarded yearly to two graduates of the Kootenay River Secondary School in the amount of $2,000 each.
The tournament, which is in its 44td year was started after Rick Clark, a very passionate Creston golfer, passed away suddenly in 1982.
This year’s tournament was won by the team of Devon Cheveldaeff, Khai Barth, Adrian Roberts and Sabina Spahmann, who say the team absolutely loved this event and all that Creston local business has to offer.
