A Brampton man has been arrested on drug trafficking charges after fleeing from Niagara police.
On Monday April 13th, police attempted to conduct a traffic stop with a vehicle on Valley Way in Niagara Falls.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and fled the scene.
Detectives later located and arrested the driver after a short foot pursuit.
The suspect was found to be a prohibited driver, and 12.9 grams of suspected cocaine was found in his car, along with drug trafficking paraphernalia
33-year-old Jevone Brown of Brampton is now facing a number of charges.
