For at least the third time in just over a month, the Queen of Surrey is experiencing issues that have led to sailing cancellations or delays.

As of 2 p.m., two sailings — the 12:10 p.m. leaving Horseshoe Bay and the 1:15 p.m. departing Langdale — have been cancelled.

At risk of cancellation, BC Ferries says, are the 2:25 p.m. sailing departing Horseshoe Bay and the 3:35 p.m. leaving Langdale. As of 2:30 p.m., the service hasn’t updated the service notice.

Water taxis are being brought in, the company said around 1 p.m.

On April 2, the vessel, which services the Horseshoe Bay to Langdale route, was pulled out of service due to a technical issue. On April 15, the ship experienced a generator failure around 9 a.m. The issue was resolved by the afternoon.

More to come.
