A Women’s World Championship match was scheduled for WWE RAW last night between Naomi and IYO SKY. However, hours before RAW went on the air, WWE announced that the champion wasn’t medically cleared to compete and the match was off.

The Women’s World Champion has been unusually silent on the subject, but a new report sheds a bit more light on the situation from last night.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Naomi was backstage at last night’s episode of RAW. So this wasn’t a situation of her being unable to get to the show.

The reason for her not being medically cleared was being kept very quiet from the other talents on the roster.
