Barney’s bad and maybe some good bets from the week.

This is meant to be for fun, and I am not giving anyone advice. Gambling involves risk. Please gamble only with funds you can comfortably afford to lose.

As we move into round two of the NHL playoffs, I have found a bit of a groove. My plays most nights have consisted of two players, total points bets on line. I have to say the Vegas vs. Utah and the Edmonton vs Anaheim series were my sweet spot.

Depending on the night, here are some of the twosomes that hit:

Las Vegas – Pavel Dorofeyev, Jack Eichel and Ivan Barbashyov – 1 point each in any different combo.

Anaheim: Leo Carlsson, Troy Terry and Jackson LaCombe (whoever he is) 1 point each in any different combo.

I abandoned the shot-blocking strategy when I realized how hard it was to keep up during the game. I will stick with this point strategy until it does not work, and I will, of course, report back.
