Thursday could bring showers to the Greater Toronto Area and wind gusts up to 40 km/h in parts of southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says the morning will see a mix of sun and cloudy conditions in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa and the Niagara Falls area.

There’s a 30 per cent to 40 per cent chance of showers in the late afternoon, with a high of around 12 C.

Wind gusts could hit up to 40 km/h in Hamilton and the Oshawa area, the weather agency says.

Thursday night could bring more showers with a 30 per cent chance in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton and Oshawa.

The low will be around 1 C in Mississauga, and there’s a chance of frost overnight in Hamilton.

Friday’s forecast calls for cloudy skies with a 40 per cent chance of showers in Mississauga with a high of 11 C. The evening will be cloudy with a low of 5 C.
