ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kyle Larson is looking to get back to winning form this weekend.
Larson has yet to taste victory in the NASCAR Cup Series this season but did get a win last week in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series at Texas Motor Speedway. This weekend at Watkins Glen International, Larson eyes a return trip to victory lane. Larson won The Go Bowling at The Glen in back-to-back years in 2021 and 2022.

“It’s been somewhere I’ve enjoyed racing in my entire career,” Larson said. “It’s been a little bit hit or miss lately for us, some wins but other than the wins just some average finishes.”
Larson, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion in 2021 and 2025, believes this weekend is one where they can run well at based on his strong past at The Glen. Currently, Larson is 8th in the NASCAR Points Standings with 318 points.
“Hopefully, we go there this weekend and make the most out of it and we’d love to hit it on our car balance and have a good weekend,” added Larson. “I think there’s some weather in the forecast so we’ll see how that plays into things.”
